Milo Detroit began working with AWRF over two decades ago, establishing a relationship that The VOS Network proudly continues today. Nick Vostoris joined the account during his internship in 2019, supporting AWRF’s social media presence. In 2022, his role expanded to include on-site coverage of AWRF’s biannual General Meetings, where he also presented to an audience of more than 400 members. What began as social media support has grown into an ongoing partnership focused on sharing AWRF’s work, events, and community with a wider audience.

How do you build an audience around wire rope and lifting equipment? Where others might see a barrier to growth, Nick saw an opportunity to approach the industry differently. By paying attention to what AWRF’s members were genuinely interested in, we shifted the focus from individual products to the remarkable projects they make possible. Our coverage of cranes, manufacturing, and lifting operations attracted tens of thousands of new followers and doubled AWRF’s social media audience in less than a year.

Nick began covering AWRF’s General Meeting and Technical Summit events in 2022, with a focus on photography and videography for event-highlight campaigns on social media. For larger product exhibitions, we bring in additional camera operators to capture multiple perspectives and produce special video recaps, speaker highlights, and interviews with AWRF members.
